Pro Grade Paint Brushes

A mixture of flat and angled brushes gives a new decorator several shapes to try without buying each separately. The attraction of this set is variety: different edges, trim and modest flat areas call for different brush control.

What it offers

Pro Grade’s current five-piece product page describes a mixture of flat and angle brushes, including a short-handled angle brush. It lists use with latex and oil-based coatings and stains. Confirm the exact pieces in the Amazon pack because listings can change.

Where it makes sense

An angled brush is useful for working along a boundary, while a flat brush can be convenient on broader trim. A short handle may help in tight spaces. We would judge value by the brushes you will actually use: five pieces offer little advantage if four stay in the packaging.

What to check first

The brand’s name does not establish a professional-quality finish. We have not tested bristle retention, balance or repeated cleaning. Follow the coating maker’s guidance for brush suitability and cleanup, especially with solvent-based finishes. Large wall areas still generally need a roller or another appropriate application method.

Our verdict

A useful comparison candidate for a first mixed brush kit. For one demanding trim job, a carefully chosen single brush may be more sensible than a larger assortment.
